Clean waves with INDORIDER

At Indorider, we’re committed to protecting the seas we surf and giving back to organisations that make a real difference.

We chose to launch with two incredible charity partners, Surfers Against Sewage in the UK and Sungai Watch in Indonesia. As we grow, we hope to expand our support to projects in areas where our customers live, so together we can have a direct impact on the waters closest to us. We are currently in discussion with a European charity that cleans rivers.

5% of every Indorider purchase goes straight to these charities.

 Surfers Against Sewage

A UK charity fighting for clean, healthy oceans, rivers, and beaches.

What They Do

  • Stop sewage pollution – Campaign to end sewage discharges into UK waters by 2030.

  • Tackle plastic waste – Run Plastic Free Communities and Schools, brand audits, and mass cleanups.

  • Protect ocean wildlife & climate – Push for more marine protected areas and stronger climate action.

  • Provide live alerts – Their Safer Seas & Rivers Service warns swimmers and surfers about sewage spills.

  • Educate & mobilise – Engage schools, volunteers, and communities to take action.

  • Hold polluters accountable – Collect data, publish reports, and pressure government and industry.

Their Goals

  • End sewage pollution by 2030.

  • Eliminate pointless single-use plastics.

  • Protect 30% of UK waters.

  • Safeguard people, wildlife, and ecosystems.

Sungai Watch

An Indonesian non-profit founded in 2020 to stop plastic pollution from reaching the ocean.

What They Do

  • River barriers – Install simple barriers to catch plastic before it flows downstream.

  • Clean & recycle – Collect, sort, and upcycle plastic waste into useful products.

  • Track pollution – Record which brands and types of plastic are most common.

  • Community action – Run cleanups and education programs with locals and schools.

Their Goal

To clean every river in Indonesia (and beyond) so plastic never reaches the sea.

What Can We Do as Individuals?

We all have a part to play in keeping rivers and oceans clean:

  • Reduce plastic use – Carry reusable bottles, bags, and avoid single-use items.

  • Dispose of waste properly – Don’t let trash end up in drains or waterways.

  • Choose eco-friendly products – Use biodegradable soaps and detergents.

  • Join cleanups – Every bottle or bag removed makes a difference.

  • Be mindful with chemicals – Limit garden pesticides and fertilizers that run off into rivers.

  • Conserve water – Less water use means less wastewater and runoff pollution.

Indorider in Action

At Indorider, we don’t just talk about clean seas — we act. We organise beach cleanups on our local shores, and we’re always ready to help wherever beaches need it. If you know of a beach that needs cleaning, anywhere in the world, let us know — we’ll do what we can to help you organise a clean-up.

Better waves come with cleaner oceans. The future of our oceans and their ecosystems depends on us — as surfers and as conscious stewards of the sea.
