OUR FIRST CHARITY DONATION

Thank you. After six months of trading, we made our first donation to a charity and cause we deeply believe in, funded directly by purchases of our products. We chose Surfers Against Sewage, an organisation with a proven track record of cleaning up our environment and holding companies accountable for waste and sewage pollution in our seas.

When we started Indorider, supporting like-minded charities doing vital work we cannot was a core reason for founding the company. We’re proud to support Surfers Against Sewage and will continue working with them going forward.

Surfers Against Sewage is a UK-based environmental charity dedicated to protecting the ocean, beaches, and wildlife from pollution. Founded by surfers in Cornwall, the organisation has grown into a powerful national voice campaigning for cleaner seas, rivers, and coastlines.

At the heart of Surfers Against Sewage’s work is holding polluters to account. They campaign relentlessly against sewage dumping, plastic pollution, and industrial waste entering our waterways, using data, public pressure, and legal action to push governments and companies to take responsibility. Their Water Quality campaigns have played a key role in exposing sewage discharges and demanding transparency from water companies.

Alongside campaigning, Surfers Against Sewage mobilise communities. Through nationwide beach cleans, education programmes, and citizen science initiatives, they empower people to take practical action to protect their local environments. Their Plastic Free Communities programme supports towns and businesses in reducing single-use plastics and changing everyday habits that harm the planet.

Surfers Against Sewage combine grassroots activism with hard-hitting advocacy, ensuring environmental protection remains in the public eye. Their work not only cleans up our seas today but helps create long-term change, so future generations can enjoy healthier oceans and coastlines.
